Two illiterate people - Ivanishvili and Kaladze - are mocking at people - I am sure this story is going to end badly, - Republican Party leader Levan Berdzenishvili said in an interview with InterPressNews.

Berdzenishvili responded to the ruling party's decision, which was voiced by party's Secretary General Kakha Kaladze at a briefing at the Georgian Dream office today.

Berdzenishvili called the initiative “absurd” and its authors “stupid”.

"What shall I say?! It is not serious. Who is interested in 2020, or why should we vote on something what we already have in 2024?! How can they mock at people like this? This is an utterly unbelievable cynicism.

These two - Kaladze and Ivanishvili should mock at each other. These two illiterate people are mocking at us - this story is going to end badly, I'm sure," said former MP Levan Berdzenishvili.

The Georgian Dream expressed readiness to hold a plebiscite on the issue of electoral system on the day of either the 2020 parliamentary elections or 2021 local self-government elections. Kakha Kaladze, Secretary General of the Georgian Dream, made the respectve statement at the briefing held at the party office a few hours ago.
