Andrius Kubilius, Co-President of the Euronest Parliamentary Assembly, is concerned about the arrests of people for "political activism" in Georgia.

He said people should not go to jail for their political activities.

“We are concerned that many people are arrested or threatened with arrest in Georgia for their political activities. My advice would be to find a solution through dialogue. People should not go to jail because of their political activity, ”Kubilius said.

The 8th annual session of the Euronest Parliamentary Assembly is being held in Tbilisi, which will last until December 10.
