Parliament of Georgia has approved the 2020 state budget. The Parliament approved the final version of the draft budget for 2020 with 83 votes against 1 at today’s plenary sitting.

Budgetary revenues and expenditures in the 2020 state budget are set at GEL 14 554.2 million and at GEL 14 432.9 million, respectively.

The budget depicit for the 2020 year stands at 2.4% of gross domestic product.

The government projects 4.5% economic growth next year, and forecasts the inflation rate at 3%.

The nominal 2020 GDP is GEL 53.1 billion.
