My categorical demand is that collection of payments be cancelled for all TV stations today and I told this to the Minister of Finance, - Nino Jangirashvili, Director of Kavkasia TV, said after meeting with Ivane Machavariani, Minister of Finance.

According to her, she demanded that all TV companies be equally treated.

“They should declare moratorium and then we should figure out how to ensure that everyone is in equal conditions,” Nino Jangirashvili said.

According to Nino Jangirashvili, her suspicions about 10-year restructurization of the debts of Imedi TV and Rustavi 2 have been confirmed today.

“This is practically giveaway. He is worried about their fate, but he cannot answer us when we tell him that collection of payments may prevent Kavkasia TV from functioning ahead of the New Year”, Jangirashvili said.

Representatives of TV Pirveli and Kavkasia TV companies, as well as Natia Kuprashvili, chairperson of the Eastern Partnership and Journalism Resource Center, met with Minister of Finance Ivane Machavariani today to discuss the issue of collection of the company's payments.
