Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia will meet with US Secretary of Defense Mark Esper today, the Prime Minister's press service reports.
Georgian Foreign Minister Davit Zalkaliani spoke about the meetings scheduled within the framework of the 56th Munich Security Conference.
“Naturally, there will be bilateral meetings as well as participation in various panel discussions. The Prime Minister will have important meetings, one of which will be with the US Secretary of Defense. This meeting is very important, as our key strategic partner is our top priority, and cooperation in areas of defense and security, which is exemplary, needs to be further strengthened”, Zalkaliani said.
