Davit Usupashvili, one of the leaders of the political union Lelo for Georgia, says that Lelo will independently participate in the elections. As Usupashvili told reporters, the representatives of the opposition have not discussed the any changes in the opposition blocs.
“Lelo is a party and will be involved in the elections as a political party. There have been no talks about any changes regarding the blocks. It is written in the constitution that the blocks are allowed. During the consultations we were discussing possible constitutional changes. Accordingly, the agreement which was signed deals with the matters which are intended to be amended. Lelo goes to the polls independently. It will coopertae with the force or forces that will help us most in implementing our program. That is our goal, ”Usupashvili said.
