Archil Talakvadze: Bidzina Ivanishvili is legitimately involved in political processes, while the opposition keeps speculating

Bidzina Ivanishvili is legitimately involved in political processes, while the opposition keeps speculating - earlier they were saying “why he is involved”, now they are saying “why he is not involved”, it is political hypocrisy, - Parliament Speaker Archil Talakvadze said when commenting on the statement to Congressman Markwayne Mullin, who called Bidzina Ivanisvhili a formal ruler of the country and an ally of Vladimir Putin.

He said the country was run by institutions.

"The last few months have once again shown our society and partners that Georgia has a democratic system of governance. The country is governed by institutions and public politicians who hold public office. As for the chairman of the party, Mr. Bidzina Ivanishvili is legitimately involved in the political processes as the chairman of the party, like the chairmen of other ruling political parties do in Europe. So, we can directly say that the opposition, and especially the old opposition, keeps speculating- earlier they were saying “why he is involved”, now they are saying “why he is not involved”, it is political hypocrisy’, said Talakvadze.
