Court has found one of the shareholders of Mtavari TV, Giorgi Rurua, guilty in both of the charges and sentenced him to 4 years in prison.

The defendant's side made a final speech yesterday. The final speech was made by Giorgi Rurua too who stated that he's an example of political persecution and that his case was fabricated in Soviet propaganda manner. In addition, Rurua noted that the court was supposed to announce the pre-determined verdict.

For the record, Giorgi Rurua was arrested on November 18 on charges of illegal purchase and possession of firearms.
