This vote is a clear success of Georgian diplomacy! Grateful to our partners for their support", - tweeted Gakharia.

For the record, on September 3, 2020, in New York, at the 74th session, the UN General Assembly adopted a resolution submitted by Georgia and 54 countries on the status of internally displaced persons and refugees from Abkhazia, Georgia and the Tskhinvali region/South Ossetia, Georgia. According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, the number of countries supporting the resolution, as well as the number of co-sponsors, has increased this year to 84.
