According to Tina Bokuchava, the government intends to adjust the epidemiological situation to the election calendar and its own interests

Tina Bokuchava, one of the leaders of the United National Movement, does not rule out that the government will adjust the epidemiological situation to its own interests and the election calendar.

As Tina Bokuchava told reporters, the government was inadequate and inconsistent during the new coronavirus pandemic.

"When there were occasional coronavirus cases, the whole country was locked down, people were locked up at home. Even driving was restricted. Now that 158 new cases have been identified, there are no such restrictions as were initially imposed. They understood well that in a stagnant economy people are on the verge of starvation. The government is inconsistent, does not take into account the best interests of the people. It seems that the government is going to adjust the epidemiological situation to the election calendar and its own interests. However, in my opinion, it will make the Georgian citizen even angrier, because the Georgian citizen's interest stands higher than Bidzina Ivanishvili thinks", - Tina Bokuchava said.
