Badri Japaridze on PM's statement: If the restriction is specially envisaged to prevent the demonstration, the opposition will not obey it

Badri Japaridze, one of the leaders of "Lelo for Georgia", responded to the statement of the Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia, which concerned the possible revision of the targeted restrictions.

As Japaridze explains, they will not obey this restriction, if it will be specifically envisaged for preventing the rally.

"If the restriction is specifically designed to prevent the demonstration from taking place, the opposition will not obey it, because it means that it was made specifically so that people would not protest", - Japaridze said.

For the record, today the Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia made a statement at the meeting of the Coordination Council. "The situation was completely different a month ago, today the situation is a bit different, because it is a different activity, I mean the ongoing political process on the street, so we will have to slightly revisit the effectiveness of targeted restrictions", - said the Prime Minister.
