Maia Tskitishvili: It is necessary to expand the targeted restrictions in order to slow down the spread of the virus

We have constant communication with business - this is communication between responsible government and business. Given the growing epidemiological background, it is necessary to expand the targeted restrictions to slow down the spread of the virus, - said Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Regional Development and Sustainable Development, Maia Tskitishvili, after a meeting between the government's economic team and representatives of shopping malls.

"Our meetings with the restaurant sector, as well as with representatives of shopping malls and major large networks were dedicated to the management of the epidemic. We discussed the possible targeted restriction that might imposed. We want to do it through close communication with the business, these meetings will continue for a while. It is also very important for business to follow the rules and regulations which are set. Naturally, slowing down and preventing the spread of the virus is our common task, a common cause - both for government and for businesses and citizens. Therefore, we have discussed once again what can be done and what is necessary to prevent further spread of the virus to stabilize the situation," - said Maia Tskitishvili.
