Davit Bakradze: We see new, normal elections as a solution for easing the crisis

We see new, normal elections as a solution for easing the crisis, - the leader of "European Georgia", Davit Bakradze, told reporters after leaving the residence of US Ambassador to Georgia Kelly Degnan.

According to Davit Bakradze, the opposition will not turn a blind eye to rigging the elections in order to ease the crisis.

"Our international friends try and offer us to use every opportunity. From their side it is appreciated. We have tried to use all legal mechanisms, complaints in all levels of the commission, including the court, have been rejected everywhere, this door was slammed by the Georgian Dream, leaving no legal way. It is the natural position of our foreign friends to advise us all the ways on how to resolve the crisis. It is up to us and the society to choose the way which we anvisage as capable of easing the cirisis, we do not see turning a blind eye to rigging the elections as a solution - we see new, normal elections as a solution for easing the crisis", - stated Bakradze.
