According to the leader of the parliamentary majority Irakli Kobakhidze, Georgian Dream demands from the head of the Fair Elections to present as soon as possible a list of polling stations (8%) where, according to them, there were excessive number of ballot papers.

As he said at a briefing at the party office, otherwise the head of the organization must admit another gross error and apologize to the Georgian public and international partners for spreading gross misinformation and promoting a revolutionary scenario of the radical opposition.

"As you know, a few days ago the non-governmental organization Fair Elections issued a scandalous statement and admitted a gross error in the parallel vote tabulation. Yesterday the head of the organization added another, even more scandalous statement, when she said she knew all about the gross error as far back as the end of November.

Although the radical opposition has been trying to plunge the situation into crisis based on the PVT on a daily basis all this time, the head of ISFED had been carefully concealing the falsity of the PVT for two weeks, which is extremely disturbing.

We did our best to avoid damaging the reputation of the NGO. Although the error made by this organization has become the mainstay of the revolutionary scenario of the radical opposition, we responded to the scandalous information with as soft a statement as possible. We did not make a reasonable assumption about the manipulation of the PVT publicly, although we were talking about it at closed meetings. However, unfortunately, the head of the Fair Elections opposed our polite approach with an inappropriate response, which is even more unfortunate”, said Kobakhidze.
