Gocha Lortkipanidze was elected as a judge of the Hague Tribunal with the Eastern European quota. He will be the first Georgian judge in the history of our country in the Hague Tribunal, - Prime Minister candidate Giorgi Gakharia wrote on the social network.

According to Giorgi Gakharia, Gocha Lortkipanidze will be one of the best judges in the International Criminal Court.

"Today a very important news became known - Gocha Lortkipanidze was elected as a judge of the Hague Tribunal with the Eastern European quota. He will be the first Georgian judge in the history of our country in the Hague Tribunal. I am proud of this great achievement and I am confident that with the highest level of professionalism he will be one of the best judges in the International Criminal Court. Mr. Gocha will start fulfilling this honorable and at the same time very responsible authority in a few months, before that he will continue working in our team and doing important things for our country", - Gakharia wrote.
