She highlighted the challenges facing the country and the region, noting that tackling issues such as pandemic, cybersecurity and destabilization requires consolidation of forces and joint action.

According to her, the new configuration of the balance of power in the region shows that more attention should be paid to security issues in the Black Sea and the Caucasus in general.

"I am glad that we are here again at the beginning of this year and in this way, we confirm that the NATO-Georgia relations and cooperation are a priority for us and this is as important as never before.

To tackle new challenges, we need new energy, more movement and dedication.

"We have seen a new configuration of balance in our region, which shows that now, as never before, the Black Sea and the Caucasus are becoming more important in terms of security and should attract more attention from NATO," she said.
