Beka Natsvlishvili has left the party Our Georgia - Solidarity Alliance.
According to Natsvlishvili, it is not obligatory to represent a party for a political struggle.
"First of all, I would like to thank the political board, party members and all supporters who, despite the unfair and unequal election environment, have shown a special commitment to the country and to the values. Our Georgia - Solidarity Alliance has great potential and will play an important role in Georgian politics. It is with this belief that I leave the party in the hands of my friends and worthy people.
It is not obligatory to represent any party to be in politics. If a person fights publicly against injustice and for the better future of the country, it does not matter whether he does it on behalf of the party or beyond it. I am leaving the party, but I continue to fight for social justice and equality, including a minimum wage, decent working conditions, progressive taxes, state housing policy and a fair energy policy.
Social background should not be an obstacle to self-realization and development. It is necessary to fight for these principles, both for our dignified life today and for the future of our future generation," reads Beka Natsvlishvili’s statement.
