Nino Burjanadze: Ms. Zourabichvili cannot play any role in the consensus, as she herself stated that she does not interfere in politics

The President has the right to meet whoever she wants, but Ms. Zourabichvili cannot play any role in the consensus process, because, unfortunately, she herself stated that she does not interfere in politics, - Nino Burjanadze, the leader of United Georgia, told reporters when answering questions on the involvement of President Salome Zourabichvili as a mediator.

Nino Burjanadze states that "Zourabichvili is too late."

"I think it is nonsense in the history of the world politics when the country's president says she does not interfere in politics. She made an important statement by resting on Khvamli Mountain on the election day. Also, every statement she had made so far has been unequivocally in favor of the government. This means that she is a side. So, unfortunately, it is too late for Ms. Zourabichvili to get involved in this process. If she has any good idea, of course, it will definitely be the subject of discussion. As for pardon, it is Zourabichvili's prerogative, if she uses it, of course, she will make a positive contribution to the regulation of the political process," Nino Burjanadze said.
