Mikheil Saakashvili calls on National Movement to sign agreement after Nika Melia leaves prison

"I would like to call on the United National Movement to sign the agreement after Nika Melia leaves prison," the third president of Georgia, Mikheil Saakashvili, says in a video posted on the social network.

"The document that was signed contains many shortcomings, it is very far from what would have solved the crisis, but there are two main things: the hero of our party, Nika Melia, should be released from prison, as well as Giorgi Rurua! This must happen unconditionally.

After Nika Melia leaves prison as he wishes, I would like to call on the United National Movement to sign this agreement, because there is a second key point in this agreement - a referendum will actually be held in the autumn, along with the local elections, for removing Ivanishvili's Georgian Dream from power," Saakashvili said.
