Akaki Bobokhidze: First Ivanishvili quit in order to avoid responsibility, then Gakharia resigned, now Talakvadze has followed, probably Kaladze will take some steps soon

First Bidzina Ivanishvili quit in order to avoid responsibility, then Gakharia resigned, now Talakvadze has followed, probably Kaladze will take some steps soon, - said Akaki Bobokhidze, Secretary General of European Georgia.

As he told InterpressNews, the process of collapsing of Georgian Dream is underway.

"In my opinion, the resignation of Archil Talakvadze is a continuation of the process that has been going on in the Georgian Dream for a long time. First Ivanishvili, the chairman of the party, quit in order to avoid responsibility, then Gakharia resigned, now Talakvadze has followed, probably Kaladze will take some steps soon. This is a visible process of collapse in the Georgian Dream", - Bobokhidze said.

According to him, Georgian Dream will have to call new elections.

"I do not know what motive did Archil Talakvadze have to take this step, or why he chose this particular time and moment. The fact is, the process goes on. In my opinion, Kakhi Kaladze is also waiting for the right time and moment to make his statement. Georgian Dream will have to go for the snap elections without external pressure", - Bobokhidze said.

For information, the Chairman of the Parliament of Georgia Archil Talakvadze has resigned. Georgian Dream has nominated Kakha Kuchava for the position of Speaker. Archil Talakvadze will switch to the post of Vice-Speaker.
