Deputy Minister of Health says number of coronavirus cases is expected to reach a peak in mid-May

According to the Deputy Minister of Health, Tamar Gabunia, the number of coronavirus cases is expected to reach a peak in mid-May.

"According to the preliminary forecast, mid-May is considered to be the peak of the number of coronavirus cases. Today's rate is not a true indicator of the epidemic growth, as it do not reflect the cases detected and reported during the Easter holidays. However, we have an increasing trend and this growth is expected to reach a peak in mid-May," Gabunia said.
