Ukraine expels Georgian “thief-in-law” Vato Kipiani from the country

Ukraine expelled the so-called thief-in-law Vato Kipiani from the country. Relevant information is posted on the website of the National Police of Ukraine. According to the agency, the officers of the Strategic Investigation Department of the National Police, together with the State Migration Service, forcibly returned the Georgian "thief-in-law" to the country of origin.

"He was on the list of those sanctioned by the National Security and Defense Council as a person whose actions could endanger the national security of our state and citizens.

Vato Kipiani, a 42-year-old Georgian citizen, who has been convicted several times, has already been arrested by law enforcement agencies in other countries for serious crimes, including murder”, reads the information.

Vato Kipiani was detained at the Tbilisi International Airport in connection with the preparation of a premeditated murder. The case concerns the preparation of the murder of brothers. According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the investigation is underway under Articles 18-109, which pertains to preparation of premeditated murder under aggravating circumstances.
