Badri Japaridze: The popularity of Georgian Dream has dropped catastrophically, they are practically leaving the political field

The IRI poll directly showed why the Georgian Dream staged a demarche and said as if the agreement was canceled, this was because of these results which match with the results of their survey, - Badri Japaridze, the leader of "Lelo for Georgia" said in response to IRI survey.

According to him, IRI is a highly reputable organization, which has shown that the popularity of the "Georgian Dream" has sharply dropped and the ruling power is practically leaving the political field.

"This is an organization that tries to conduct surveys with the help of Georgian companies in order to know the attitudes of our population, to provide this information to politicians to take into account. Therefore, an organization with a higher reputation than this is hard to imagine. We need to study these results, to draw adequate conclusions for all. Most importantly, the Georgian Dream obviously does not like the fact that its popularity has dropped catastrophically, they are practically already slowly leaving the political field, this is inevitable, and we must calmly complete this process for a better future for our country. These surveys show politicians that we need to take active action, take more active steps, have more active communication with our people, but at the same time, it directly showed why the Georgian Dream staged a demarche and said as if the agreement was canceled, this was because of these results which match with the results of their survey", - said Badri Japaridze.

In addition, according to Japaridze, the support that "Lelo" has according to the survey is connected to the apathy of the population towards politicians.

"The population is apathetic towards politicians. We must take this as an incentive to work more actively, and ultimately, we must have one goal - to oust the Georgian Dream from power, form a coalition government and bring the country out of the crisis", - Japaridze said.
