Vilnius renames street where Russian embassy is located to “Ukrainian Heroes’ Street”

The street where the Russian embassy is located in Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania, has been renamed to "Ukrainian Heroes".

“I look at these soldiers and I don’t see the motivation, what should they fight for. For Putin? Who is Putin to them? They are, beyond any doubt, the army of the aggressor, the soldiers of the aggressor,” - Gitanas Nausėda, President of the Republic of Lithuania, tweeted.

It comes days after Latvia renamed the street of the Russian embassy in Riga to “Independent Ukraine”.
