The body of Davit Gobejishvili, a Georgian fighter killed in Ukraine, was transferred to homeland

Davit Gobejishvili, a fighter killed in Ukraine, was brought back to Georgia at dawn.

Citizens, including representatives of the civil sector and the opposition, were present at the airport to honor the fallen hero.

The Georgian fighter will be laid to rest in Kashueti Church today at 12:00, from where he will be transferred to Tkibuli in the evening. The fallen fighter will be buried in Tkibuli on Sunday.

Let us remind you that Davit Gobejishvili is the 4th Georgian soldier who was killed in a Russian rocket attack. Earlier, Georgian fighters Gia Beriashvili, Davit Ratiani and Bakhva Chikobava became victims of Russian aggression.
