European Parliament Security and Defense Subcommittee delegation to visit Georgia on April 10-14

A delegation of the European Parliament Security and Defense Subcommittee will visit Georgia. The visit is scheduled for April 10-14. Information about the planned visit is available on the website of the European Parliament.

MEPs will discuss the work of the European Union Monitoring Mission in Georgia (EUMM Georgia), as well as the possible consequences of Russia's war against Ukraine for the country.

The MEPs will meet with the President of Georgia, the Prime Minister, the Speaker of the Parliament and the Minister of Defense.

According to the EP statement, with this visit, the European Parliament wants to express its solidarity and underline its support for Georgia's territorial integrity.
