Volodymyr Zelensky thanks Salome Zurabishvili for the decisive, unwavering and invaluable support to Ukraine

I am grateful for your country's decisive and unwavering support to Ukraine, which is invaluable for us, because the support brings us closer to our victory, - reads the letter of the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, sent to the President of Georgia, Salome Zurabishvili.

"I would like to thank you for participating in the second summit of the Crimean Platform in August of this year. The summit demonstrated the unity and strength of the democratic countries to protect Ukraine and the international legal order from Russian aggression. It is very important that the participants of the summit clearly stated that they would not accept Russia's occupation of the Ukrainian peninsula and will never recognize the illegal annexation of Ukraine's sovereign territory. The summit also confirmed the legal right of the Ukrainian people to defend themselves against Russian aggression, which began with the seizure of Crimea in 2014, and to liberate the entire territory of Ukraine, including the Crimean peninsula, within internationally recognized borders. I am grateful for your country's decisive and unwavering support for Ukraine, which is invaluable to us as the support brings us closer to our victory. We must do everything we can to free our country from the occupation and hold accountable those responsible for the criminal and aggressive war. I look forward to continuing our cooperation within the framework of the Crimean Platform, in particular, your country's participation in the first Parliamentary Summit of the Crimean Platform and the Black Sea Security Conference. I firmly believe that with united efforts we will defeat the aggressor," the letter states.

The letter was read at the Glory to Ukraine international conference by Ukraine's Chargé d'Affaires Andrii Kasianov.
