GD departees: The desire of the Embassy to open a second front in Georgia is so strong that they started opening their cards again and made their favorites speak out - the statements of the radical opposition confirm that the danger has not passed

The desire of the Embassy to open a second front in Georgia is clearly so strong that they started to open their cards again and made their favorites speak out about this topic, Georgian Dream departees - Sozar Subari, Dimitri Khundadze, Guram Macharashvili and Mikheil Kavelashvili - say in a statement.

In the statement, the deputies respond to the statement of Giorgi Vashadze, the leader of Strategy Builder, according to whom "since the beginning of the war in Ukraine, the American side has offered a multi-billion dollar package to the Georgian side to strengthen its defense capabilities."

According to former members of Dream, this statement of Vashadze was "widely picked up" by other oppositionists and "the statements of the radical opposition confirm that the danger of the second front in Georgia has not yet passed and both the government and the public should pay special attention."

According to them, the most interesting thing is "why did the Embassy make these people say that America was preparing our country for a devastating second front".

"Yesterday, one of the representatives of the radical opposition, Giorgi Vashadze, made an interesting statement - "According to my information, since the beginning of the war in Ukraine, the American side has offered a multi-billion dollar package to the Georgian side to strengthen its defense capabilities." According to him, this assistance included training of Georgian pilots along with Ukrainian pilots.

It is also interesting that Vashadze named so-called Lend-Lease as the main mechanism for supplying weapons to Georgia. On the example of Ukraine, we know very well that the approval and implementation of Lend-Lease takes several months, which means that under the conditions of the initiation of Lend-Lease, Russia would have enough time to carry out the full occupation of Georgia before the arrival of the announced weapons from America, and before that, the Georgian military would have an unequal confrontation with the Russian army. They would have to use the existing resources.

Vashadze's statement was widely picked up by Giga Bokeria, Shota Utiashvili, Bacho Dolidze and TV stations belonging to the National Movement. They practically confirmed Vashadze's information in different ways and severely criticized the Georgian government for not transferring weapons to Ukraine and receiving weapons from America.

Even for a child, it is clear what the result would be if the Georgian authorities transferred arms to Ukraine or mobilized arms from America. This would very easily create a pretext for Russian military intervention and the second front, around which the radical opposition had launched an open campaign in February-March.

The main thing here is not whether the information spread by Vashadze, Bokeria, Utiashvili, Dolidze and others is true or not. These people have lied to many times and we are sure, in this regard, they would not spare themselves in this case either. The main thing here is that these people do not make any statements without a task.

Let us remind you that the initiator of the new campaign is Giorgi Vashadze, who was "given the right" to threaten the Georgian government with a coup d'état and early elections on behalf of the United States. We asked the American Ambassador several times to distance herself from Vashadze's statement, but each time we received silence.

The most interesting thing is why did the Embassy make these people say that America was preparing our country for a devastating second front

We know very well that the Embassy tried in every possible way to persuade the Georgian government to go to war, they started doing it a few days before the war in Ukraine. However, when they did not get this result from the government, they tried the reaction of the public. Immediately after the beginning of the war, especially in February-March, the Embassy tried several times through Gigauri, Lomjaria, Margvelashvili, Ilves, Podolyak, Danilov and others to mature the idea of a second front in the Georgian society. However, as soon as they saw that the Georgian society chose peace and double-digit economic growth over the war with Russia, they immediately stopped the campaign and, on the contrary, switched to justyfing themselves, saying 'neither we nor our Georgian employees want a second front'.

However, now, against the backdrop of Ukraine's successes at the front, it seems that the Embassy has decided to retest the mood of the Georgian public. If the Embassy sees that the public's negative reaction is not strong enough, it will actively relaunch the second front campaign and may even openly engage in this campaign itself. The Embassy's desire to open a second front in Georgia is apparently so strong that they have begun to open their cards again and made their favorites speak out on this topic.

These statements of the radical opposition confirm that the danger of the second front in Georgia has not yet passed, and both the government and the public should pay special attention so that they do not make a mistake and avoid this danger in the end.

In conclusion, in this case too, we call on the American Ambassador to come out and publicly reject the statements of the radical opposition, from which it is clear that America was preparing Georgia for the second front. Otherwise, the public will have the right to think that these statements are true, and the Embassy's self-justifications that it does not want war in Georgia is a farce and an attempt deceive Georgian people," the statement reads.
