Davit Usupashvili: There are no 9 departees, there are 9 promoted persons to whom the supreme has granted the supreme privilege

There are no 9 departees, there are 9 promoted persons to whom the supreme has granted the supreme privilege to voice their and other leaders' opinions about the world, directly and without change, Lelo MP Davit Usupashvili told journalists. He responded to the decision of 5 more MPs to leave Georgian Dream.

According to him, what we are watching is the poor performance of Rezo Gabriadze's (Marionette) Theater.

“These 9 are the people who voice the true thoughts of the Dream leaders. The remaining majority does not deny this either, they say that they have differences in the form, but not in the content or principles. What we are watching is the poor performance of Rezo Gabriadze's (Marionette) Theater," Usupashvili said.

5 more MPs left Georgian Dream and joined the public movement People's Power founded by the four MPs who left Georgian Dream earlier. In particular, the MPs that left Georgian Dream are: Zaal Mikeladze, Eka Sepashvili, Davit Kacharava, Viktor Japaridze and Dachi Beraia.

Accordingly, People's Power will be represented by 9 MPs in the Parliament of Georgia.

It is worth noting that despite leaving Georgian Dream, Mikeladze, Sepashvili, Kacharava, Japaridze and Beraia remain in the parliamentary majority.
