Under our Government, everything has been done in the last ten years for Georgia to have concrete tangible results on the path of European integration. Our population knows best the benefits that we have received on the path of European integration. I want to assure our population, you too, that the entire Government of Georgia will do everything in order to reach the final goal, which is full membership of the European Union, Foreign Minister Ilia Darchiashvili said in the format of Minister's Hour in the Parliament.

According to the him, the Government of Georgia carries out reforms primarily for the population and considers them the number one priority. According to Ilia Darchiashvili, the Government fulfills its obligations on the path of European integration.

The Minister said that the quality of the questionnaire, which Georgia filled out in order to receive candidate status, is very high.

"As for the submission of the questionnaire and the events that have already developed. I want to say unequivocally, without any political context, that the perspective given to Georgia is a very important step forward, which has brought us very significantly closer to the European Union, and our efforts in this direction will continue so that, in the end, Georgia fulfills the 12 recommendations received from our European partners and it will happen as soon as possible. However, as for the final status, Georgia is on the same level as our two partner associated countries - Ukraine and Moldova, and it is together with them that the European Union will evaluate the work performed by us in relation to the recommendations," said Darchiashvili.
