Foreign Ministry: Consulate General of Georgia in Istanbul has not received any official notification about Georgian citizens

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Consulate General of Georgia in Istanbul has not received any official notification about Georgian citizens regarding the explosion in the center of Istanbul.

The Consulate remains in constant communication with the local law enforcement agencies.

"As of now, the General Consulate of Georgia in Istanbul has not received an official notification about the citizens of Georgia. The Consulate remains in constant communication with the local law enforcement agencies," reads the information.

At least 11 people were injured as a result of the explosion in the center of Istanbul.
