I don't know what was said to the Polish ambassador at the reception, but an official diplomatic demarche may apply to a person who openly confronts and opposes the state not only on the basis of political sympathy, but also implements a specific plan that is part of the National Movement plan, - First Vice-Speaker of the Parliament, Gia Volski, said when commenting on the statement of Deputy Speaker of the Polish Sejm Małgorzata Gosiewska.
Volski also noted that if Gosiewska’s had said the truth, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs would have made an emergency statement.
According to Volski, the Deputy Speaker of the Polish Sejm has been carrying out harmful behavior towards the state of Georgia for years.
"I don't know what was said to Ms. Małgorzata Gosiewska, but the fact is that she has been standing on a certain political platform for years. Despite the fact that she is the co-chairperson of the group of friends, she does not hide her sympathy for Saakashvili's team. In addition to expressing sympathy, she expresses an extraordinary political position, which fundamentally opposes the state of Georgia and actually violates the standard of political and diplomatic prudence that a particular high-ranking official should show," Volski said while talking to journalists.
Deputy Speaker of the Polish Sejm Małgorzata Gosiewska said that she was threatened that if she continued to speak loudly about Saakashvili's life and the situation in Georgia, I would no longer have the opportunity to enter Georgia.
According to her, the mentioned threat was heard in an official conversation.
"I am not afraid of the threats that are being heard against me. I am being threatened that if I continue to speak loudly about the life of the President [Mikheil Saakashvili] and the situation in Georgia, I will no longer have the opportunity to enter Georgia. Such a threat was heard by our ambassador, who was told directly about this. I, for example, do not have the opportunity to enter Russia and Belarus due to my work, and if Georgia is added to these countries, everything will be clear... Such a threat was made in a formal conversation held with the Ambassador of the Republic of Poland. This threat was heard in the official conversation. I hope it won't be implemented. I want Georgia to return to the normal circle. I want to have the opportunity to visit political prisoners. For years, I had been visiting the former Prime Minister, Mr. Vano Merabishvili in prison. I had the opportunity then, now I don't have such an opportunity. I have been refused to visit Saakashvili several times. They refused me, they also refused me to visit Gvaramia", Małgorzata Gosiewska told Formula TV.
