Koba Nakopia: The election results of the National Movement chairman will be announced on January 30
The Chairman of the Political Council of the United National Movement, Koba Nakopia, calls on the party's supporters and team members to be active in the internal party elections.
As Koba Nakopia explained at the briefing, the elections will be confidential and no one will ever know who voted for whom.
"On January 28-29, the elections of the chairman of the United National Movement will be held. Voter registration was stopped on January 26, at 10:00 am. The number of registered people is about 50,000 people, this is unprecedentedly high number, there is high public interest in these elections. On January 28, at 10:00 a.m., the election will start, and the page where you can vote will be available. I encourage everyone who has registered to actively participate in the elections. I want to assure you that the election will be confidential, no one will ever know whether you participated in the election or who you voted for. There is an absolute guarantee of this, the elections are completely secret and practically no one has access.
Elections will end on January 30 at 10:00 am. The results will be announced on the same day. The commission will meet quickly, we expect the results to be known to the public by 12:00.
With these elections, not only the issue of the chairman of the United National Movement will be resolved, but in the future, the United National Movement will definitely take over the government from Georgian Dream, this will happen very soon, and of course, it is very important how these elections are held and how the National Movement continues its activities”, said Nakopia.
