Georgia allocates GEL 1 million for humanitarian aid for population affected by disaster in Türkiye

According to the decision of PM Irakli Gharibashvili, 1 million GEL has been allocated for the purpose of providing humanitarian aid for the population affected by the natural disaster in the Republic of Türkiye.

The Governmental Administration disseminated the above information.

According to the Administration, the amount was allocated from the Government's Reserve Fund.

"According to the decree of the Government of Georgia, one million GEL has been allocated from the Government's Reserve Fund to the Ministry of IDPs from the occupied territories, Labor, Health and Social Protection in order to provide humanitarian aid to the population affected by the natural disaster in the Republic of Turkey.

According to the decree signed by Prime Minister Irakli Gharibashvili, the allocated amount will be used for the purchase of medicines, food, clothes, medical equipment and other necessities for the citizens affected by the natural disaster in the Republic of Turkey and for their transportation to the Republic of Turkey," reads the information.
