MP Viktor Japaridze throws microphone at opposition MP Tariel Nakaidze

At the plenary session of the Parliament, where the Defense Code is being discussed in the first reading, there was a verbal and physical confrontation between opposition MPs and members of the People's Power.

The situation became tense during the discussion, when MPs Tariel Nakaidze and Sozar Subari were talking to each other. The situation escalated so that MP Viktor Japaridze threw a microphone installed on the parliament table in the direction of Nakaidze. The verbal confrontation continued for several minutes.

According to the reports, the MPs of People's Power called their opposition colleagues sitting on the opposite side spies, and this caused the conflict.
