According to him, the National Movement is disintegrating, but it is necessary to neutralize the "collective National Movement" along with them.
"This political party is collapsing and the process will definitely continue. In the end, these processes should continue until 2024 so that the National Movement is no longer a factor in Georgian politics. However, one thing should be emphasized here, it doesn't matter whether the second force in the political system will remain to be a formal National Movement or any other political force that will actually be the National Movement. The National Movement is a collective phenomenon and includes Lelo, Gakharia's party, Vashadze's party, Zura Japaridze, Khoshtaria, etc. Together they are a collective National Movement. Therefore, the main thing is not the neutralization of the National Movement as a political party in our political system, but it is necessary to neutralize the collective National Movement and society's efforts should be directed towards this," said Irakli Kobakhidze.
