According to Defense Minister Juansher Burchuladze, there are several minors among those who died in the disaster zone in Racha.

As he told journalists, a pedestrian bridge has been opened for movement and about 100 units of heavy equipment have been mobilized.

"We have completed the organizational issues in the Defense Forces. We have announced mobilization. The full composition is already in place. We have opened a pedestrian bridge. If necessary, we will bring more similar bridges and open them. About 100 units of heavy equipment are mobilized here and are working. Once again, I would like to express my condolences to the families of the victims. A big tragedy occurred in Racha and the whole community is shocked by it. It is very emotional to be here. We found the bodies of several minors," Burchuladze said.

Landslide has killed 18 people in Shovi. More than 200 people have been transported to a safe place within the framework of the rescue operation.
