Salome Zurabishvili meets Frank-Walter Steinmeier as part of her visit to Germany

The visit of the President of Georgia Salome Zurabishvili to Germany has started. Salome Zurabishvili already met the President of the Federal Republic of Germany Frank-Walter Steinmeier within the framework of the visit. The President herself publishes photo and video material of the meeting on social networks.

According to the President's Administration, the President of Georgia is starting meetings with European leaders in support of granting Georgia the status of a candidate country for EU membership with her visit to Germany.

For information, the Government Administration released a statement on the issue of President Salome Zurabishvili's visit abroad, where it is stated that Salome Zurabishvili was refused a visit to Germany as well as to 9 other countries.
