Partskhaladze's citizenship should be revoked immediately - everyone knows very well that the Georgian government will not punish him and the only leverage the President has is to take away his citizenship, Khatia Dekanoidze, a member of the Eurooptimists, said while responding to the President's statement regarding Partskhaladze's citizenship.

In addition, according to Dekanoidze, Partskhaladze has already managed to withdraw a large amount of money from banks.

"I agree with the President in her assessment that this decision of the National Bank is a Russian decision and it allows FSB agent Partskhaladze to avoid sanctions together with the Georgian authorities and withdraw a very large amount of money. As far as I am informed, he has already withdrawn money”, said Dekanoidze.

According to her, she would criticize Salome Zurabishvili with her diecsion relating to the Partskhaladze's citizenship.

“The FSB agent with only a Russian passport would face an obstacle when moving to European countries, while our passport allows him to enjoy a visa-free regime. Also, with a Georgian passport, he creates a serious problem not only for Georgia, but for European countries as well. That's why, in my opinion, he should be deprived of his citizenship immediately, everyone knows very well that the Georgian government, which covered up for Partskhaladze, will not punish him, and the only leverage that the society and the President have was to take away his Georgian citizenship," said Dekanoidze.
