Shalva Papuashvili turns off microphone for MPs wanting to make statements about Irakli Beraia

The Speaker of the Parliament, Shalva Papuashvili, did not allow MPs to make statements regarding Defense and Security Committee Chairman Irakli Beraia during the plenary session.

At the beginning of the plenary session of the Parliament, Khatia Dekanoidze tried to make a statement twice, as well as Aleko Elisashvili, but Papuashvili turned off their microphones.

The leader of the session told his colleagues that the mentioned issue was not on the agenda.

For information, the opposition demands the dismissal of Beraia from his position.
