Davit Kirkitadze: On November 23, the National Movement is going to hold a big gathering, and interference from the state is already obvious

On November 23, the National Movement is going to hold a big gathering, and interference from the state is already obvious - this is another violation, and I want to inform our partners, international organizations, that the falsification and interference in elections does not happen only on the day of the elections, but starts long before, - the National Movement member Davit Kirkitadze said.

According to Kirkitadze, it is also planned to sign the manifesto at the gathering.

"November 23 is approaching, the 20th anniversary of the Rose Revolution. The United National Movement is going to hold a big gathering, and I want to say with sadness that there is interference from the state. We have applied to a number of state-owned institutions, such as the New Sports Palace, and we have also applied to the company that owns the old Sports Palace for renting it, and unfortunately, we were refused by them. While Alt Info and Russian forces have no problem holding their own gatherings, in state-owned buildings, for example, in the Telavi Theater, we, pro-Western forces, are fiercely opposed to organize gatherings and celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Rose Revolution in a dignified manner. Also, we saw a British consultant being blocked at the border, while Russian citizens, a number of people who have violated the occupation laws, are walking freely through our territory. And the British citizen, who was an adviser to Cameron and Jonson, was not allowed into the country. We hear them boasting that they are powerful, but they are afraid to give buildings to pro-Western forces and let consultants into the country. This is another violation and I want to inform our friends, partners, and international organizations that when they make interim and final summary conclusions, I want to tell them that rigging the elections, obstructing the political entities, does not happen only on the day of the elections, it starts long before," said Kirkitadze.

When asked whether the manifesto that Mikheil Saakashvili was talking about will be signed on the 20th anniversary of the Rose Revolution, Kirkitadze stated that "This manifesto will be one of many things. Along with the manifesto, there will be important news at our gathering."
