The export of grapes and natural wine decreased by approximately 53%, and the export rate of mineral water also decreased by approximately 52%, - said the Executive Director of the National Statistics Service of Georgia, Gogita Todradze.

According to him, the volume of production of beverages in November has decreased compared to the period of the previous year.

"As for the downward trends, it was first of all revealed in the processing industry sector. Here, the decrease was mainly related to the decrease in the production volume of the chemical industry, mainly mineral fertilizers. It should be noted here that the export rate of nitrogen fertilizers decreased by approximately 22%.

The volume of production of beverages also decreased in November, compared to the period of the previous year. This was also reflected in the export rate, the export of grapes and natural wine decreased by approximately 53%, and the export rate of mineral water also decreased by approximately 52%," Todradze noted.
