EuroOptimists are summoning the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ilia Darchiashvili, to the Parliament of Georgia by manner of interpellation.

As opposition MP Khatia Dekanoidze pointed out, the summoning of the minister to the legislative body is related to the participation of Georgian citizens living abroad in the elections.

According to her, Ilia Darchiashvili should give answers to the questions surrounding the mentioned issue.

"We are summoning the Minister of Foreign Affairs by manner of interpellation, since we did not hear, among other things, an explanation from the new Prime Minister, or an opinion on how many of our fellow citizens abroad can have the opportunity to vote in newly opened polling stations," said Dekanoidze.
