Gia Volski to President’s Parliamentary Secretary: Do not enter into the discussion! Members of the Bureau are confronting each other, and you have no right to do that!

Do not enter into the discussion! The members of the Bureau are confronting each other, and you have no right to do that! Then, sit down as a member of the Bureau, - Parliament Vice-Speaker Gia Volski addressed the Parliamentary Secretary of the President of Georgia, Giorgi Mskhiladze, who was expressing his opinion regarding the draft law on "Transparency of Foreign Influence" at the session of the Bureau.

Mskhiladze began to state his opinion by repeating the appeal of Georgia's international partners, when Gia Volski interrupted him and asked him to go directly to the final part.

"Specifically tell us your position on this matter. Do not repeat what was said. Do not enter the discussion! The members of the Bureau are confronting each other, and you have no right to do that! If you form the position as you say, it means that you come with some position, then sit down as a member of the bureau! Say your position, what you intend! Directly tell us the conclusion," Volski addressed Mskhiladze.

The Parliamentary Secretary of the President called on the majority not to register the draft law at the Bureau session at all.

"It has already been mentioned at the Bureau that in the explanatory note of the draft law, we read that the mentioned draft law does not contradict the obligations related to Georgia's membership in international organizations. After the steering team initiated the said bill, it was followed by feedback from our international partners.

The representatives of the European Union, as well as the Secretary General of NATO, urged us not to register and adopt the mentioned bill. Therefore, I urge you not to register this draft law at all at the Bureau!" - said Mskhiladze.
