Anri Okhanashvili to the opposition: listening is European, slavery is Russian, what you do - we choose a Europe with dignity, not "National Movement" and not radicalism, remember this well

Listening is European, slavery is Russian, whatever you do. Europeanness means a culture of listening, a struggle of ideas, not shouting. We choose a Europe with dignity, not the "National Movement" and not radicalism, remember this very well, - said Anri Okhanashvili, the chairman of the parliamentary committee on legal issues and member of the parliamentary majority, to the representatives of the opposition.

As Okhanashvili points out, the opposition did not present any arguments and this discussion was full of lies from their side.

"As for the draft law, if someone had any argument, he should have presented it, but when these people do not have an argument, then they are insulted here. Nonexistence is their side. Our side is argumentativeness and therefore we are right before our people and society. Therefore, our society should know that we presented a draft law based on the experience of the European and United States of America, and therefore, it is a Georgian model based on the Western experience. Our mission is to ensure that our community has maximum access to transparency regarding funding. Where does the finance come from, targeting, how it is spent. They could not present any argument. This whole discussion was full of lies on their part. It was said that it concerns natural persons, the very first article of the draft law states that it does not concern any individual and it concerns legal persons, in this case NGOs," said Anri Okhanashvili.
