"Paysera Bank Georgia" has become a member of Banking Association of Georgia

With the development of open banking, "Paysera Bank Georgia" will introduce and share a new experience in the Georgian banking market. Dimitri Kumsishvili, the General Director of "Paysera Bank Georgia", stated this on the "Palitranews" broadcast. Commercial banks can join open banking with the assistance of the Banking Association.

"The Banking Association is a union that speaks on behalf of commercial banks with the regulator, and also discusses all the necessary issues that are currently accumulated in the Georgian banking sector. In addition, today the Banking Association offers us support in the development of new technology. This is the open banking direction. An open banking direction has been created within the Banking Association, through which a commercial bank can receive the relevant documentation, implement it, and obtain a certificate that will allow it to develop open banking. This direction is very important for us. In this regard, "Paysera Bank Georgia" will bring great knowledge to the Georgian market, as we have been doing this at the group level for the last 6 years," - states Dimitri Kumsishvili.
