“Paysera Bank Georgia”, as a member of the European banking group, does not serve citizens of Russia and Belarus

“Paysera Bank Georgia” does not serve Russian citizens. Dimitri Kumsishvili, General Director of “Paysera Bank Georgia” made a statement about this with “PalitraNews”.

“Paysera Bank Georgia: is a member of the European financial group. Therefore, we are subject to double regulations. This is both the National Bank of Georgia and the European regulation. Our European accounts are Lithuanian accounts and are therefore subject to the restrictions of the National Bank of Lithuania. Opening an account in Lithuania is fully restricted to citizens of the Russian Federation, as well as to citizens of Belarus. “Paysera” is present in 9 countries and fully covers the European Union. Apart from Russia and Belarus, it is easy to open an account for people from any other country”, - Dimitri Kumsishvili said.
