The day that Georgian football fans have been waiting for 30 years has come, today the Georgian flag will be waved and the Georgian anthem will be played for the first time at the European Championship, - the Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Kobakhidze says in a video address related to the participation of the Georgian national team in the European Championship.

According to the head of the government, he believes in every player of the national team.

"The day has come, which Georgian football fans have been waiting for 30 years. Today, for the first time, the Georgian flag will be flown at the European Championship and the Georgian anthem will be played. The sense of pride that each of us will feel today is indescribable.

Today, I believe in our players just as much as I did 3 months ago, on March 26. I believed that they would put their heart and soul into the game and give Georgia a historic victory.

Even today, I believe that our players will put their heart and soul into all three games and will definitely succeed.

I believe in every player of the national team.
