President: Disgraceful statement by Beka Odisharia about our citizens detained in occupied Abkhazia - it seems that this is a vision of settling future relations with the occupiers, understood by dream

Shameful statement by Beka Odisharia about our citizens detained in occupied Abkhazia - this is how the President of Georgia Salome Zurabishvili evaluates the statement of Beka Odisharia, a member of "Georgian Dream".

As Salome Zurabishvili responds to the statement of the member of the majority on the "Facebook" page.

"In general, you don't know what the presumption of innocence means, and even worse, you share the accusations of the so-called law enforcement officers without appeal... This seems to be a vision understood by the "dreams" of settling future relations with the occupiers, for which it turns out they need a constitutional majority!", the President wrote on the social network. For information, the occupiers illegally arrested two Georgian citizens living in Otobaia village. MP Beka Odisharia responded to the fact. He made the following statement regarding Georgian citizens detained by the occupation regime of Abkhazia:"If a person was busy giving and taking money to get people to cross the artificial administrative occupation border, then naturally, this person also, unfortunately, helped to get him arrested. However, once again, I say that he should answer not to the proxy government of Abkhazia and or the Russian occupation army, but he should be immediately handed over to Georgia, to the legitimate government of Georgia, which I think will find out about the issue. I would defend the presumption of innocence, I would not accuse this person, because for me the press service of the Russian occupation army or even the current puppet regime of Abkhazia cannot be an authentic source," said Odisharia.
