"Yes to Europe, income growth, protection of pensioners, a strong Georgian family, ending the price mafia" - Tina Bokuchava, the chairman of "United National Movement", said about this, who presented the 5 main election priorities of "Unity - National Movement".

In her speech, Bokuchava noted that immediately after the change of government, "National Movement" together with coalition partners will open negotiations on joining the European Union and Georgia will become a member of the European Union.

"Today we are in Kvareli, the homeland of Ilia Chavchavadze. The main driving force of Ilia was the idea of a modern and European Georgian state. Georgia, with its history and uniqueness, is a member of the great civilizational family of Europe. We are driven by this idea, in the realization of which President Saakashvili, in whose yard we are now, has put our country on the path to European integration with quick and courageous reforms. The main mission of our generation is to bring this centuries-old struggle to an end.

We promise that as a result of the historic elections on October 26, immediately after the change of government, "National Movement" together with coalition partners will open negotiations on joining the European Union, and Georgia will become a proud, worthy and full-fledged member of the European Union. From the moment of the beginning of the accession negotiations, Georgia has the greatest financial opportunities, including access to the 14-billion European fund. The European Accession Fund is an opportunity to finance many needs of Georgian citizens, including subsidizing agriculture, which is very important for Georgian farmers and growers, which Kakheti understands best, so the first priority of "Unity - National Movement" is Georgia's accession to the European Union.

After winning the elections, "Unity - National Movement" will cancel the Russian law, which is costing our country millions of dollars and euros, and Georgia will proudly say - yes to Europe! We will sign a free trade agreement with the USA and we will certainly get visa-free travel to America for every citizen of Georgia.

The second program priority of "Unity - National Movement" is employment and the creation of high-paying, decent jobs for our citizens. During the last few weeks, I traveled all over Georgia, I was in the regions, in the mountains or at the sea, in the regions or in the cities, in the villages or in the towns, and everywhere I saw extreme hardship, unemployment, poverty. Today, half a million Georgians are actually unemployed, because it is impossible to consider a 300 or 600 GEL salary as a salary. Would any "Dream" official be able to support his family with 300, 600 or even 1000 GEL? While millions of GEL from the state budget go into the pockets of Ivanishvili's officials, the refrigerators of Georgian families are empty, and for the majority of families, everyday life is a struggle for survival. We will attract investments, eliminate corruption and under free and fair market conditions, we will improve the economy to create tens of thousands of new, decent jobs every day, the average salary for all employees should be equal to 3500 GEL so that families can take a breath and not be afraid of tomorrow. The economy will work for the people, not the elites.

Our third priority is to protect pensioners. The 12-year rule of "Georgian Dream" brought extreme inequality, where the most vulnerable group of the society - pensioners, under Ivanishvili's banking dictatorship, carry a heavy banking burden 4 times more than anyone else. This is a great injustice that we must end. As soon as we come to power, we will abolish pension loans. We will also work with our coalition partners to increase pensions. Yes, it is necessary for each pensioner to have a pension, which should amount to 1000 GEL. We will create a government program to fund essential prescription drugs for retirees so that they never again have to choose between food and medicine, which I have seen all too often, including a few days ago when I was in Sarpi, elderly women crossing the Turkey-Georgia border to , so that they could buy essential medicines in Turkey at a slightly cheaper price.

We will take care of the older generations and at the same time we will invest in the future generations. Strengthening the Georgian family is our main priority. Today, people in Georgia fear old age as much as they fear the birth of a new life. As a mother of three children, I know very well how much of a burden it is for families to give birth to a child in today's Georgia. We must return the joy of new life to Georgian families. Along with the increase in incomes due to the recovery of the economy, in order to fight against the demographic catastrophe, the like of which Georgia did not experience even in the 90s crisis, we will offer specific financial support to all needy families for newborns. We will also introduce free meals in all public schools. The program that we are already implementing with great success in Tsalenjikha, where I was also a few days ago. We promise all parents that no child in any public school will suffer from hunger in class again, this is very important to increase and improve the quality of education in public schools.

We promise all students that we will invest heavily in the construction of dormitories. When corrupt officials arrange apartments, plots, forests for their relatives, Georgian students work day and night to pay the rent. This is completely unacceptable, because then students can no longer put the appropriate resources into their academic life. We have to give back to old people a dignified old age, to children we have to give back strength and to young people the charm and freedom of being a student.

We must return the Georgian citizens in forced emigration, who are fleeing the increased prices and unemployment from Georgia, and that is why President Saakashvili's one billion fund will be created so that every emigrant returning to Georgia has a chance for a new start and a better perspective, right here, in their homeland - Georgia.

Our fifth priority is to defeat the price mafia in Georgia, which was created by the clans connected to Bidzina Ivanishvili. By oppressing and shutting down small and medium-sized businesses, Ivanishvili created state-grown business monopolies in all areas, which artificially raise prices for their own enrichment. Banking, construction, food and communications monopolies serve to enrich the Ivanishvili clans, at the expense of impoverishing the people. We will take bold steps to restore competitive market conditions that will create new, more affordable and better alternatives in all areas. This is a real, sane and fair way to keep prices down and we promise it will be our top priority.

The choice is simple - prosperity in Europe or poverty in isolation. I believe that Georgia will choose prosperity in Europe in the historic elections of October 26, we will be able to do it with unity, because with unity we can do everything. Freedom to President Saakashvili, victory to Georgia, may God protect Georgia", said Tina Bokuchava.

Michał Kobosko - we hope that your government eventually would either choose the European way, the democratic way or would resign seeing the number, the size and scale of the citizens' protests
